Nearly 1.8 million students, 100,000+ teachers, and 8,700+ schools in all 50 states across the country are currently using ST Math, which has proven its impact on test scores and students’ attitudes toward mathematics.

"I learned about ST Math when I was Coordinator, Elementary Math at the Division of Instruction. I had an opportunity to learn about and vet many math programs and I have to say that MIND Research Institute, the non-profit organization behind ST Math, was the only organization that submitted actual studies that showed a positive impact on student outcomes."
Jose Dorado, Principal at Herrick Avenue Elementary
LAUSD, CA

The Power of ST Math

EarlyLearning@2x.png
Deep Conceptual Understanding

ST Math teaches foundational concepts visually by connecting ideas to symbols and later, language. This approach allows students to build conceptual understanding without encountering language barriers.

EarlyLearning@2x.png
Impact at Scale

ST Math schools are a proof of concept that shows the impact an effective program can have for students of every level. ST Math leads the industry in providing educators results with authenticity, transparency and clarity.

EarlyLearning@2x.png
Personalized Learning

Over 200 visual games create a unique pathway of interconnected content to provide differentiated instruction regardless of student skill level in math or language.

EarlyLearning@2x.png
Creative and Rigorous Problem Solving

ST Math standards-aligned learning program moves away from digitized math drills and challenges kids to explore non-routine problems and build number sense instead of memorizing disconnected facts.

EarlyLearning@2x.png
Student Engagement

The experience of conquering tricky puzzles intrinsically motivates students to tackle the next challenge with energy and enthusiasm.

WestEd recently published the largest study of its kind to evaluate ST Math nationally, including over 150,000 students between 2013 and 2016. This national-level study expands upon previously published WestEd independent validations of the effectiveness of ST Math at the district level (Los Angeles Unified School District 2013) and statewide (California 2014).
